Welcome to SIT 2009!
The Students Involved with Technology (or SIT) Conference is an annual conference that provides students in grades 3-12 from throughout Central Illinois opportunities to learn and share their technology expertise with others. Sessions at this conference are presented by and for students in grades 3-12!

SIT 2009 will be a full day that includes:

• Technology Sessions presented by and for your peers! Share your knowledge on robotics, games, web safety, green technology, forensics, design, hardware and software tricks and tips, animation, science and energy, creative projects, and much, much more!!!!

• Guest Speaker Presentations!

• Challenges that take your brain, your creativity and your tech savviness to new heights!!

• And, oh yeah, snacks, lunch, shirt and chances to win great prizes!!

Are you asking yourself, “What can I do from now until registration opens?”

Here are some ideas:

• think about what kind of presentation you would like to make at SIT

• Ask a teacher, or parent to be your sponsor as you develop and fine-tune your presentation

• Grab a camcorder and create a video to submit for the 2009 Contest

• Ask 2 or 3 of your friends if they want to create a group presentation along with you for SIT

• Design your presentation handout

• Make a video commercial about your presentation to play at the beginning of your session!

February 10, 2009  |  Volunteer Orientation at WDC from 1-2pm or from 6-7pm
February 13, 2009  |  Presenters invited to WDC from 4-6pm to preview and check out their presentation rooms
